The History & Mystery Tour is a downtown stroll on Sunday, May 17 from 2:00 – 4:30.

Costumed characters will be standing in the front yards of twelve homes along Franklin and Adams Streets.    They will tell about the home's architecture and history, as well as, perhaps, a tale about its residents.

Antique cars (from the North Alabama Antique Automobile Clubs of America) will be parked in the driveways and along the streets. Some gardens will also be open, with free refreshments and period music.  The UAH Lowe House will be open with docents.

PLUS:  The historic Masonic Temple will be open for tours.  (That's a pretty rare event in itself!)
Our organization (HPA) also sponsors the Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll, but at this May 17 event, the  characters are standing outside their homes -  instead of their graves

There is an admission charge of  $10.  Tickets are available at Belks, Harrison Brothers, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and, on the day of the event, at tables along the path of the tour.
